FAQ K-12 Tuition
What is a community sustained tuition model?
We do not offer traditional "charity-style" financial aid; instead, we offer a sliding scale where every family contributes meaningfully to our collective learning community according to their financial capability. If none of these situations fit the needs of your family. Please speak with the director.
Am I required to pay within my tier?
Families who fall into level 1: This level is meant not only fund your child’s education but can also help someone else who may be struggling. You are required to pay at least the standard tuition (level 2) but you may choose to donate extra, which is appreciated and optional.
If you fall into levels 2 or 3: You are required to pay within the level, you fall into.
Can I upgrade or downgrade levels?
Yes, but only at the beginning of the month. We understand that life happens and want to work with you. Please see the policy for further information.
I need assistance paying the enrollment fee, is there help?
Yes, please speak with the director PRIOR to enrollment.
How can I pay?
You can pay using credit or debit card as well as apple or google pay. If you need a different option, please speak with the director.
Can someone else pay on my behalf?
Yes, they will need to use the links provided so that it gets credited to the correct account.
Do you accept ESA or Ohio Ed Choice funds?
No, as a non-tax non chartered school we are currently unable to accept any state or federal funding.
I need financial assistance, what can I do?
Please speak with the director as soon as possible to work out a plan. Including downgrading your level of support if necessary.
I am unable to pay; can my child still attend?
Our goal and mission is education for all, we do not want funding to deter you from enrollment. Please speak with the director to see what options are available to you.
Will my child lose their spot due to inability to pay?
Generally no, there may be a payment needed to resecure the spot. Speak with the director for more information.
This is not working out for my child can I have a refund?
No, there are no refunds given for services already rendered. For those who choose to prepay please see our withdrawal policy concerning potential refunds for pre- paid courses only
Will you withhold educational records (report cards and transcripts) when I have a balance on my account?
No, we will always send your child's records when requested.
Will my child receive their diploma if there is a balance on their account?
Yes, diplomas will never be withheld from a student.
